Fruit Drop World v1.2.0 Release Notes

New Features

Daily Challenge

  • New level everyday featuring new level generation and various new game rules.
  • Earn Diamonds and Season Trophies based on your performance in the Daily Challenge.

Every Daily Challenge may contain any combination of these new game rules:

  • Bouncy Fruits: Increased fruit bounciness.
  • Explosive Fruits: Fruits explode when merged, pushing other fruits away.
  • Upgraded Fruits: All spawned fruits are upgraded by 2 levels.
  • Wheelspin: Spin a wheel featuring any combination of Shrink, Clear, Upgrade, Shake, and Clean Up rewards.

Monthly Seasons & Trophies

  • Get ranked on the monthly season leaderboard by earning Season Trophies from playing the Daily Challenge.
  • Trophy rewards are calculated based on your global ranking in the Daily Challenge, so play everyday and compete for the top to maximize your rewards!

Diamonds

  • Earn Diamonds by participating in the Daily Challenge. Diamonds can be used to unlock themes.

Lives System

Lives are used to play the Daily Challenge. Every Daily Challenge attempt consumes 1 life.

  • Used lives regenerate every 60 minutes.
  • You can hold up to 3 free lives at one time.
  • Extra lives can be purchased and will stack on top of free lives (e.g. if you have 3 lives available and purchase 3 extra lives, you will have 6 lives in total).

User Profile

  • New user profile menu with various statistics, accessible through the profile button at the top-left of the main menu screen.
  • Added ability to link to Game Center (iOS) or Google Play Games (Android) to protect your account and enable switching between multiple accounts.

Notifications

  • You can now optionally enable notifications to get notified when your lives are full, when a new Daily Challenge is available, and/or when the Daily Challenge is ending soon.

Updates

  • Various user interface and animation updates.
  • Various bug fixes and performance improvements.

Audio

  • Added 4 new background music tracks.
  • Adjusted audio levels.

Physics

  • Minor adjustment to relative mass of fruits.

New Wheelspin Rewards:

  • Shrink: Select a fruit to shrink all instances in size.
  • Clear: Select a fruit to clear all instances from the level.

Leaderboards:

  • Larger leaderboards interface, displaying more players on-screen.
  • Added leaderboards for the Daily Challenge and monthly Season.
  • Updated leaderboard reset times to align with 04:00 UTC.

Settings

  • New settings menu interface.

New settings options:

  • Notifications: Added toggles for lives full, challenge ending soon, and new challenge available notifications.
  • Haptics: Added separate toggles for gameplay and interface haptics.
  • Support: Added new contact support and send feedback options.
  • Manage Account: New option to directly delete your account.
